We had 2 lanes with only 6 motor club members bowling, this included a family from Cinderford who came across to bowl. Let’s see more local members turning up for a great evening of bowling and chatting, it only costs £6 each for an hour. There are only 5 more for the rest of the year so come along and try one evening. Thanks to all those who support us.

The next bowling will be the 13th September, again at the Grove 7-30 pm for 7-45 to start at 8pm.

BOWLING AT THE GROVE 20/09/11

Well what a great night and what can be said about Graham Powell, I’m sure he had been eating loads of E numbers or something as he played like a Pro. Altogether he had 6 strikes throughout the evening and our Chairman Len Evans tried every way to hit the pins and eventually ended up bowling backwards through his legs hitting more pins than before.

Altogether there were 8 club members and 5 non members, for those that haven’t been to one of these evenings you don’t know what you are missing. It only costs £6 each .

The next bowling event will be the Clive Mapp memorial trophy which will take place on the 27th December. This is a karting and bowling event and to qualify for this trophy you must take part in both events. This is obviously dependant on the weather for the karting part.
